Windsor-Essex Corporate and Real Estate Lawyer
Tyler is an Associate in the Business Law practice group at Willis Business Law. He provides strategic legal advice on corporate governance, commercial transactions, and risk management. Tyler joined the firm as a summer and articling student before becoming an Associate following his call to the Ontario bar in 2025.
Before entering private practice, Tyler held leadership roles with the Government of Alberta, where he led teams and advised on policy development, legislative reform, and strategic planning. His experience at the intersection of law, public policy, and economic development helps clients navigate complex legal issues and align their business strategies with evolving regulatory and commercial environments.
Tyler focuses on helping clients solve legal and business challenges with solutions that support broader strategic goals. He works closely with both individuals and organizations to manage risk, support decision-making, and achieve short- and long-term objectives. His approach is pragmatic and forward-looking, aiming to deliver advice that’s practical, resilient, and adaptive to real-world business needs.
Born and raised in St. Clair Beach, Tyler returned to Windsor in 2025 with his wife. In his personal time, he enjoys running, gardening, and staying (mostly) optimistic while cheering on his favourite Detroit sports teams.
